2024 General Election

Voting has always been important, but never more so than now.

Vote in Person

IF AT ALL POSSIBLE, please vote in person on Election Day. Read WHY below:

Absentee Voting

If you absolutely cannot vote in person, hand deliver your ballot directly to the elections office. Do not mail it. Do not drop at a drop box.

A lot of people drop their mail in ballot into a bag at their polling location. That is NOT voting in person. See link above to learn HOW to vote in person.

Let me be clear – I believe our elections clerk wants to do everything by the book. That said, it doesn’t always happen that way. So if you want to ensure your ballot is processed exactly as you submitted it, VOTE IN PERSON.

Citizen Observation

Citizens have the right – and responsibility – to watch how our ballots are processed.

You can help:

  • Sign up to be a POLL WATCHER – observe and report potential issues at polling locations and ballot tabulation centers
  • Sign up to be a POLL WORKER (official role helping to administer the election at the precinct level)
  • Take note of any irregular activity when you vote in person
  • Watch a drop box location and document any irregular activity
