Below are my thoughts on specific local races and measures. Do your own research – reach your own conclusions.

Learn about the candidates. Follow their history. See who (if anyone) argues with them on social media. Ask the hard questions: Who are their friends? Do their values align with yours? What is important to them?

These are the candidates in order of who I support. Talk with them. And stalk them on social media. Who do they support? Who supports them? What do they stand for? Why are they running?

JR Gonzales (incumbent) – I personally know JR and am greatly of the work he has done as a councilman for the city these last 4 years. He is a passionate conservative, businessman and a Christian. Listen to the council recordings to get an idea of how and why he votes for certain issues.
Mark Clement – a hardworking conservative who is tired of seeing our community fall apart and wants to be part of finding solutions.
Eric Avery – a Christian conservative seeking unity in our city.
