  • This bill is being rammed down our throats – it’s political, and it should not be

I also encourage you to let the White House knowabout your strong opposition to this bill. The progressive Left is zealous about this issue and will pull out all the stops to try to make it the law of the land.

  • Under the broad reach of the Equality Act, schools, churches, and hospitals could be forced to accept the government’s beliefs and mandates about sexual orientation and gender identity. That would be highly intrusive and incredibly far-reaching. It will threaten everyday speech where people can be fined or lose their jobs for using the wrong name or pronouns.
  • The Equality Act will legislate that we allow boys in girls’ sports, boys in girls’ locker rooms, men in women’s shelters, and men in women’s prisons. It will force teachers and students to publicly pretend that a biological male is a female. Schools will be coerced to instruct first, second, and third graders that they can choose to be a boy or a girl, or neither, or both, making biological sex (and science) a relic of the past.
  • The Equality Act will use the force of law across all 50 states to threaten the right of Christian and other religious ministries to hire people of shared faith to pursue a shared mission. Can you imagine a Christian organization being forced to hire people who have no passion for its beliefs, teachings, and mission—or who might even be hostile toward its deeply held beliefs? That doesn’t work.
  • The Equality Act will strip health professionals of their rights of conscience. It will force doctors and medical professionals who long to do no harm to engage in gender transitiontreatments such as hormone-blocking, cross-sex hormones, or surgery. It is obvious that a Catholic or faith-based hospital should not have to perform gender transition surgeries that go entirely against what they believe.
  • The Equality Act will be a tool used by the government to deny or threaten accreditation to religious colleges and universities if they do not satisfy the demands of the secular Left to apply sexual orientation and gender identity to dorms, sports, places of privacy, and even teachings. The Act could be used as a weapon to threaten the availability of federal student loans and grants to students at certain disfavored religious schools.

Testing should stop – unless your in the hospital with respiratory symptoms.

Protect the vulnerable. Elderly should take 3-5,000 units of vitamin D.

Risk of death in those under 65 is 1 in 300,000 (generally those with another bad sickness).

Let people make their own decisions. Politicians should not be in the business of medicine.

Kevin Kiley on Recall

POLITICO caught up with Kiley Tuesday on the road for his book tour, which has taken him to 25 stops around the state. He said many Californians are watching other states relax mask mandates and reopen schools, and they’re frustrated and angry.

“I talk to a lot of people on this tour…a lot of Democrats,’’ he told us. “And the thing I hear most — and this is what I think makes the recall powerful — is that they’ve never been involved in politics before, they’ve never paid much attention to it. And now they’re out gathering signatures, and recruiting their friends. I think that’s a fundamental change.”

What would he have done? Kiley said he “wouldn’t have issued a school closures order in the first place.” Spoken like a governor, you might say (and publishing a book like one, too). Yes, Kiley has been buzzed about as a possible GOP candidate, should the recall qualify. But Kiley told us, “I’m not planning on it now.’’ He said he’ll “look at how the field shapes up,’’ but for right now, his plan “is to relentlessly campaign for the recall.”A

s far as the signature count: 1.9 million is not yet official, but look for an announcement sometime today.

No More Masks!

Texas and Mississippi have joined Florida in re-opening their states.

This happens when “we the people” choose to take back our lives.

Stop wearing masks and demand our county and city agencies remove all restrictions.

  • Masks do not help and may actually increase risk
  • Mask rules are creating division
  • Science does not support mask rules

Call Spoofing

I received several calls feom local numbers at the crack of dawn this morning from people who were upset because someone called them from my number.

However – I did not call them.

According to the FCC, this is only illegal if the callers intent is to “defraud, harm, or wrongfully obtain anything of value” from the call recipient. In these cases, people found guilty of call spoofing can be fined up to $10,000 per call. Unfortunately, options to fix this problem are limited:

  • Call your phone provider and change your number
  • Ride it out – scammers only use a number for a limited time to avoid being traced
  • Record a voicemail stating:  “If you got a call from this number, please understand that telemarketers or scammers are using my number without my permission. For your own security, do not engage with them and please block this number.”
  • Report spoofing calls to local law enforcement and/or file a complaint with the FCC – Consumer Complaint Center

If you receive a call from an unknown number:

  • Do not answer
  • If you do answer and don’t know the caller, hang up
  • If the caller asks you to press a button, hang up – do not press anything
  • Never assume a call is legitimate and never give personal information to someone who has called you – hang up and call them back on a number you can verify on the company’s bill or website
  • BE SUSPICIOUS! Especially if they sound threatening or too good to be true!
  • Block all numbers not in your contacts list – most cell phone providers have built in technology to do that, or you can download an app
  • You can also silence unknown numbers – this sends callers not in your contacts list straight to voicemail. Check your voicemail frequently to make sure you don’t have legitimate missed calls.

ICYMI – the first third is hard to listen to – he picks up the pace for the last 2/3.

I’m convinced this is our 2021 State of the Union address.

Listen for the clues! 3rd win (1st was as 45, 2 & 3 as 19?). Take back the House and then the Presidency (eliminate a bunch of House reps – take the Speaker position and then remove Biden & Harris?). I don’t know – the under cover op is frustrating because we don’t get to know.

Control what you can. Get involved locally – take back your city / county – while we wait.
