George Washington & Mass Innoculation

Last week, one of our Supervisors read a letter by someone who noted that George Washington had required vaccination of military troops in 1777. At the time, 90% of deaths were caused by disease, mostly small pox.

Washington said “Necessity not only authorizes but seems to require the measure, for should the disorder infect the Army . . . we should have more to dread from it, than from the Sword of the Enemy.”

Makes sense doesn’t it? It seem logical that the same thought should apply to our present situation, correct?

Except…

  1. There was no treatment for small pox. There is safe, effective, outpatient treatment for covid. Learn more about treatment
  2. Inoculation of small pox in 1777 was very different from the so call covid vaccine. Small pox inoculation involved infecting the person with a less deadly form of the disease. MRNA technology doesn’t prevent you from getting covid – they hope you’ll get lesser symptoms but that hasn’t been proven and has caused more harm than all vaccines combined in the last 30 years of tracking. Learn more about reported adverse reactions here (these are estimated to be 1-10% of the actual numbers)
  3. Our military isn’t dying from covid. There were only 20 covid deaths of all active duty military in 2020. Listen to the video below of a navy surgeon who explains her concerns about the damage that’s been done by requiring military get the shot.

I keep hearing people insist that mandatory vaccinations should be required. Those people have not bothered to hear our concerns or offer solutions.

Making snide comments on social media (or in a news column) or yelling at us from your car as you drive by will not bridge the gap.

We are willing to talk. Are you?

Feel encouraged to email shawn@tehamafreedom.org.

Conspiracy Theory

This very misguided post is being circulated on FB. The people posting this are doing so as an insult.

It’s not an insult – it just shows their ignorance.

My Response

  1. There are very credible experts – scientist and doctors who share important information. Just because you haven’t bothered to look into the information doesn’t make our experts any less reliable or important. In fact, during a senate committee hearing on outpatient treatment, the doctors supporting this effort had treated thousands of patients successfully – the one and only doctor opposed had not treated a single covid patient. Who do you think is the expert there?
  2. How do you know that our “random people” are random – or wrong?
    • Our random people include the inventor of mRNA technology, the chief scientist of Pfizer, and multiple virologists and immunologists who have been legitimately involved in treating patients and have grave concerns about the shot.
    • When did you first hear of Fauci? He was just as unknown as many of these experts.
    • There is tons of credible evidence. You’ve chosen not to bother to ask questions and to simply believe whatever you’re told. We have chosen informed consent.
    • Sites with dubious credibility – what sites would those be? Sites like VAERS – vaccine adverse event reporting system?

Instead of trying to insult us – how about taking the time to have a conversation with us about why we believe what we believe and where we actually get the information we have?

PS: If you know me – I’d be happy to talk with you about why I believe what I believe. Chances are, if you shared the conspiracy theory post, you don’t even know what we conspiracy theorists believe.

Stand Up to Tyranny

Here’s something our founding fathers never said:

“I’d love to stand up to tyranny, but if it costs me my job then I can’t. I have to feed my family.”

Friends, our founding fathers weren’t in danger of losing their jobs, they were in danger of losing their lives.

When they signed their names to the Declaration of Independence, they all understood that their lives were at risk. Losing the fight was a certain death sentence.

Yet they still signed it. They were resolved to sacrifice everything.

It pains me today to hear patriots today say, “I can’t give blank up, thats too much.”

Do you realize what’s at stake? Do you think your job will be safe if communism wins?

Do you think your family will be safe from the deep state’s agenda?

Please, don’t be afraid of what you will lose if you stand. Be afraid of what you will lose if you DON’T.

BOS Letter re Executive Director, Health Services Agency

Item 19 of this Tuesday’s agenda is the request for approval and authorization to sign an Employment Agreement with Jayme Botke for the position of Executive Director, Health Services Agency.

In light of the current issues relating to mandates and restrictions being set forth by the state and federal government, I strongly urge you to delay filling this position on a permanent basis until we, your constituents, can be assured that her values and beliefs on covid mandates and issues align with ours.

The majority of our county residents strongly oppose these mandates and we are actively fighting against them.

We strongly oppose ANY official who does not agree with the following:

  1. Covid mandates are ineffective and not supported by science. Numerous studies have shown masks to be ineffective and shutdowns do more harm than good.
  2. Covid mandates do not take into account very serious health and financial consequences of individuals, businesses and communities.
  3. Areas that have the most strict mandates also have the most severe covid cases. Case in point, Los Angeles has 25% of California’s population but has 35% of California’s Covid cases and over 40% of the deaths.
  4. Masks, testing and shot mandates deny persons their constitutional right to make an individual decision about his or her own medical treatment. Doctors in our county are already denying treatment to patients who have not gotten the shot and employers are already terminating employees who choose not to get it.
  5. Safe and effective outpatient treatment protocols are being used by doctors throughout the world. Our local doctors are not even aware these protocols exist. You can learn more here: https://tehamafreedom.org/covid/treatment/covid19-outpatient-treatment-protocols-senate-committee-hearing/

Our public health Director should be open to supporting our county in our efforts to bridge the education and communication gap on all of the above issues.

My understanding is that Jayme Botke agrees with and supports all mandates.

While we wish her no ill will, we do believe it is critical that our Health Director supports the efforts of our community and not place additional burdens on local businesses, employees, families, and students.

I urge you to reconsider this decision and seek an alternative solution.

Please – do not enter into contract with Jayme Botke. Delay the decision pending further discussions on her stand on the above mentioned issues and consider other options.

Our county cannot bear another official who sides against us.

Respectfully,

Shawn Greer
